Palais Lumière
The Palais Lumière is a former spa establishment in the town of Evian transformed since 2006 into a venue for various temporary exhibitions with a generous sized media library.
Golf enthusiasts will be delighted at the Evian Golf Academy. An 18-hole course is available. The course is located on the heights of Evian-les-Bains at around 500 meters above sea level, near the Hôtel Royal. It offers a remarkable view of Lake Geneva and Lausanne, located on the Swiss side.
The Evian Casino currently has 187 slot machines including 30 electronic English roulettes, 7 electronic Blackjack, 9 gaming tables, 3 bars and restaurants, as well as a theatre.
Listed as a Historic Monument, The Funicular constitutes a rare piece of European railway heritage and is among the only three survivors of listed funiculars from the 19th and 20th centuries. The lower station is located rue du port, behind the Palais Lumière. The upper station is located at the Grange au lac and departs every 20 minutes from both stations.
